A calm evening routine for reading and listening
An evening session works best when it fits your attention at the end of the day. Choose a small task with a clear finish rather than trying to complete everything you postponed.

Use familiar material when attention is limited
A story you have already read can still support learning. You know the event, so you can focus on a phrase, pronunciation or a detail you missed. New content is not required for every useful session.
If you are too tired to follow the scene, shorten the task or stop. An evening routine should fit your schedule and rest needs; there is no special promise that studying at bedtime locks words into memory.
Give the audio one clear task
Listen for a sentence whose meaning you understand. Try to recognise it before checking the text. If sound is impractical, read and explain the phrase instead.
Am Ende fand sie den Schlüssel in ihrer Jackentasche.Decide what counts as finished
Finish when you can explain the chosen sentence or the ending of the story. You do not need to keep scrolling until you run out of content. Write down one question for next time if something remains unclear.
A familiar story also gives you a simple comparison: what feels clearer now than before? Use that observation to select the next task, without making a missed evening into a failure.
Keep the evening task distinct from deeper study
Lexiego stories and audio can fit a short evening session. Save more demanding activities, such as extended writing or exam tasks, for a time when you can concentrate.
- Choose a familiar story or saved sentence.
- Listen or read with one question in mind.
- Explain the result without looking at the translation.
- Stop and choose a starting point for your next session.
