INTRODUCTION This Privacy Policy clarifies how your ("You", "User") information is processed by the Data Controller ("We", "Us") when using the Lexiego application ("App"). 2. DATA MINIMIZATION & LOCAL STORAGE Your in-game progress, scores, earned "Münz (Coin)" data, and in-app achievements are stored exclusively on your own device using secure local storage methods. This data is under no circumstances transferred to us or any third-party server, nor is it stored in external databases. 3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS In order to provide offline dictionary and translation features, as well as periodically updated reading articles and educational content, the App may download data directly from content delivery networks and third-party open-source repositories via standard internet protocols. During this process, your device's IP address may be briefly visible to these third-party servers to facilitate the download. No personal data is collected or stored during these downloads. This processing is based on legitimate interest and the performance of the service (GDPR Art. 6). To improve application stability, optimize system performance (startup speed, network latencies), and resolve technical errors, Google Firebase (Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring) services are utilized. Within this scope, technical information such as application version, operating system, device model class, language settings, crash records, error logs, performance/latency metrics regarding network requests, and anonymous installation identifiers may be processed. This data is used solely to enhance the technical quality of the application and is not directly linked to your real identity (name, email). 4. PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS In-app purchases and Lexiego Pro subscriptions are processed directly through Apple App Store or Google Play Store standard internet protocols. We do not collect or store financial data like credit card numbers or billing addresses. Payment verification is done via anonymous receipts. 5. SPEECH RECOGNITION / VOICE DATA The App utilizes your device's native Speech Recognition API (Apple Speech or Google Speech-to-Text) for voice-based learning exercises. Voice data is processed by these native operating system services, which may transmit audio to Apple or Google servers to convert your speech into text. We do not collect, intercept, or store your voice data on our servers. By using the voice features, you consent to the processing of your audio by your device's native provider. 6. USER RIGHTS (GDPR / KVKK) Because your data remains on your device, accessing, deleting, or modifying it is entirely in your control. You can permanently destroy all your information instantly by deleting the App or clearing the app data from your device settings. 7. CONTACT & CHANGES This policy may be updated from time to time. Since our data practices are device-based, your continued use of the App confirms your acceptance of any standard policy changes.
